Seed Capital

Your team gets $20,000 in seed funding for your company. Then you get the opportunity to pitch to groups of angel investors and venture capitalists at the end of the program both here and abroad.

We're building a community of the best and brightest internet entrepreneurs in Melbourne. Mentors you can bounce off, learn from, get help from and forge lasting relationships with.

Going through an accelerator program like AngelCube puts your startup in the limelight for three months. The connections, advice, networks and introductions you'll receive are invaluable.

AngelCube is a micro VC fund, or startup accelerator based on best of breed accelerators: Y-Combinator, Techstars, Seedcamp, 500 Start Ups and Startmate. These investment firms have now helped many startups transition from idea to valuable business and have re-energized their respective investment communities.

AngelCube has been established because right now, there is no seed investment firm in Melbourne that is willing to invest and support such early stage startups. We are here to change that.

Startup accelerators take a minority equity stake in internet companies and in return provide seed capital, mentorship, marketing, connections, administrative help and support services (such as legal, accounting and office space).

In addition startup accelerators teach the entrepreneur crucial skills and create press, networks, connections and attention that increases each startups chances of success.

By joining a program like AngelCube, startup founders get a wealth of knowledge, experience and connections that can take years to form on your own and increase their likelihood of success.

If you are a founder of a new web business, or have a concept that you would like to bring to market then we would encourage you to apply. The skills, networks, experience and connections you will gain through our program should far outweigh our investment (although the cash helps!).

We also believe the program will be a lot of fun and an experience of a lifetime. Who else in Melbourne will pay you, give you incredible support and fly you to the US to meet investors?
