AngelCube is a micro VC fund, or startup accelerator based on best of breed accelerators: Y-Combinator, Techstars, Seedcamp, 500 Start Ups and Startmate. These investment firms have now helped many startups transition from idea to valuable business and have re-energized their respective investment communities.
Angel Cube has been established because right now, there is no seed investment firm in Melbourne that is willing to invest and support such early stage startups. We\'re here to change that.Startup accelerators take a minority equity stake in internet companies and in return provide seed capital, mentorship, marketing, connections, administrative help and support services (such as legal, accounting and office space).
In addition startup accelerators teach the entrepreneur crucial skills and create press, networks, connections and attention that increases each startups chances of success.
